The issue of Bullying is a major concern for parents of school age children. Shield Karate offers this program to schools and teaches Children how to be more aware of Bullies and how to deal with them. Shield Karate's Bully Prevention Program in Culver City is part of our commitment to serving the community.
Shield Karate is committed to keeping children safe from harm by giving them the tools to deal with Bullies in and out of school. Free workshopswill be held throughout the year at schools and throughout the community. If you would like Shield Karate to come to your school or group, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. The presentation is fun, informative, and will give you and your children tools to help prevent or end bullying behavior.
What does bullying look like?
Bullying is more than physical intimidation. It is a pattern of psychological dominance, contempt and disdain, directed at those perceived as weak or unassertive. A Bully's reach can extend beyond the school yard to the walk home, on trips or camps, at social events, on the phone, and on the internet.
At Shield Karate children learn how to be aware of Bullying behavior so they can avoid becoming a victim. They also are introduced to Bully Prevention by becoming fit and confident members of their community. We encourage children to participate in charities and doing good deeds. This improves self esteem and builds healthy relationships with people who have a common goal.
Karate classes at Shield are Bully Free Zones. We have a family oriented culture that focuses on every child's right to become their very best.
If your child is currently experiencing bullying, they can end it by becoming more confident and learning how to protect themselves when necessary.
Shield Bullyproof teaches children the importance of standing up for others and encouraging their peers to do the same.
